Peony YULIA DRUNINA PEONY

The Tree Peony variety Yulia Drunina is a sprawling bush about 1.0-1.2 meters high with green leaves and sturdy flower stalks. The flowers of this variety are solitary, simple, and medium-sized—17-20 cm in diameter, saucer-shaped, and positioned vertically. The petals have a rich red-purple hue with a characteristic almost black spot at the base, giving the flower an expressive and unusual look. The stamen filaments are purple, the anthers are yellow, and the stigma is white. The staminodial disk has a bottle shape and is colored white or cream. Flowering occurs annually in mid-season, and the flower scent is moderate.

The Yulia Drunina variety is distinguished by good resistance to fungal diseases, heat, and drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The plant's hardiness is average, so in regions with severe winters, additional protection is recommended. Thanks to its decorative qualities and resistance, the variety is widely used in greening and landscape design.

In landscape design, tree peonies, including the Yulia Drunina variety, are used to create striking compositions in mixed borders, flower beds, parks, and garden plots. They are combined with other decorative plants such as hydrangeas, spirea, roses, and phlox, which allows creating stable and attractive floral ensembles. Thanks to its expressive color and flower shape, Yulia Drunina becomes a bright accent in garden compositions.
