300 YEARS OF BOTANICAL GARDEN OF MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY PEONY

The Peony 300 YEARS OF BOTANICAL GARDEN OF MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY represents a unique specimen from the collection of the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University, where active work is being carried out on the introduction, study, and breeding of species and interspecific hybrids of the genus Paeonia L. The collection includes about 300 cultivars covering all directions of breeding, and also includes 18 species, many of which are included in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation. This speaks to the high scientific value and rarity of the presented plants.

Special attention in the Botanical Garden is paid to the preservation of biodiversity and the development of new methods of using biological materials.
