Late-autumn variety obtained at the Dubovskoy Experimental Station of the NIVNIISX in 1955 by crossing the Bergamot Volzhsky variety with Duches Angouleme and Bere Kiffere varieties. Authors: R. V. Korneev and L. K. Zhukova. The variety is registered in the Nizhnevолжский region.
Medium-sized tree, strong-growing, with a rounded, slightly raised crown of moderate density. Strong foliage. Bark on the trunk and main branches is gray and flaking. Main branches are gray, branch off the trunk at nearly a right angle. Branches are curved, compactly arranged, with tips directed upward. Fruit set on spurs and fruiting branches.
Shoots of medium thickness, curved, round in cross-section, yellowish, without pubescence. Buds are few and small. Vegetative buds are bent, medium-sized, round, smooth. Flower buds are elongated, smooth, large. Leaves are medium-sized, egg-shaped. Leaf apex is long-pointed. Leaf color is dark green, leaves are smooth, matte, with delicate venation. Leaf blade is concave, curved downward, without pubescence. Leaf margin is serrated, wavy. Petiole is long, medium thickness, bare.
Inflorescence — a rounded panicle with a medium number of flowers. Flowers are medium-sized, white, flat, smooth.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 130-140 g, one-dimensional, broad pear-shaped, regular in shape. Fruit surface is slightly warty, skin is rough, dry, dull. Main fruit color is light-yellow, with a blurred red blush on the sun-exposed side. Subcutaneous spots are gray, clearly visible, medium-sized, numerous. Fruit stem is short, thick, straight, obliquely positioned. Calyx cup is medium-depth, blunt-conical, narrow, without rusting. Calyx is non-detaching, semi-open, medium-sized. Receptacle is deep, wide, ridged. Heart is small, bulbous. Subcalyx tube is short, bowl-shaped. Seed chambers are small, closed. Seeds are medium-sized, brown.
Flesh is white, medium density, semi-oily, tender, slightly acidic-sweet, very good taste. Appearance attractiveness rating: 4.4 points, taste rating: 4.3 points. Dry matter content — 12%, sugars — 10.9%, acids — 0.14%, pectin — 0.42%, ascorbic acid — 5.2%.
Late-autumn maturing variety, harvest ripeness occurs in mid-September, consumer ripeness — in September-October.
Fruits do not drop. Fresh fruit transportability is high. Commercial quality is high.
Fruits are dessert-type, stored in refrigerators until December.
Trees enter fruiting stage in 4-5 years after planting in orchards as one-year-old saplings. Self-fertile. Yield is regular and high.
Cold and drought resistance are high. Disease and pest resistance is above average.
