Onion Vision F1 — a high-yielding hybrid of long-day bulb onion from the Dutch selection by Syngenta Seeds (Netherlands). This medium-maturing hybrid of the Rijnsburger type is characterized by uniformity and high quality. The vegetative period is 110-115 days from emergence to harvest. Bulbs are round, with an average weight of 200-220 grams, covered with a strong brown outer sheath with an intense bronze sheen, ensuring long-term storage without loss of quality or taste up to 8 months.
The plant features a powerful and healthy leafy canopy with even leafing, which naturally leans during ripening. The hybrid quickly adapts to growing conditions, intensely accumulates fruit and leaf mass, and shows a yield potential of up to 95 tons per hectare. Vision F1 onion is resistant to major diseases such as Fusarium and downy mildew, contributing to a stable and high-quality harvest.
To achieve maximum productivity, an intensive cultivation technology with regular watering and fertilization is recommended. Seeds are prepared for sowing and packaged in 250,000 units; the optimal sowing period is from March 25 to April 15, with a seeding rate of 750,000 seeds per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for mechanical harvesting and cleaning, simplifying agronomic processes and increasing production efficiency.
