It matures in 115-120 days after emergence and is intended for cultivation in open ground under various climatic conditions. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth, resistance to major diseases, and ability to maintain productivity even under high solar activity and low soil moisture. Bulbs have medium-sized round shape, weighing 130-150 grams, with thin necks and attractive high-quality red-purple skin.
The inner scales of the onion are dense, elastic, crisp, and juicy, with moderately spicy, slightly sweet, and aromatic flavor. Due to these characteristics, Red Mech F1 is widely used both for fresh consumption and culinary processing. The hybrid is suitable for mechanized harvesting thanks to uniform bulb shape and tough outer scales, which reduces labor costs and accelerates harvest.
