Hysoon onion is a high-yielding early-maturing hybrid with a maturation period of 85-90 days, allowing for the production of quality produce at the beginning of the summer season. The bulbs have a proper round shape with a thin neck and an average weight of about 120 grams. The protective scales are dark brown in color, characterized by strength and gloss, which provide reliable protection for the flesh from damage and contribute to the preservation of the harvest for 3-4 months when stored in rooms with controlled air parameters. The dry matter content in the bulbs is 11%, positively affecting the quality and taste characteristics of the product.

The Hysoon hybrid is characterized by a high yield potential, reaching 65-80 tons per hectare, and is suitable for cultivation in all climatic zones. It requires careful care, particularly regarding watering and fertilization: the main nitrogenous feeding should be conducted before the mid-vegetative period to avoid extending the maturation period. Thanks to these features, Hysoon onion is successfully used both in traditional and mechanized harvesting systems, making it convenient and profitable for farmers.
