Slavnyi F1

Cucumber Slavnyi F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid with predominantly female flowering and a vigorous, climbing plant. The fruits are cylindrical, 8–12 cm long and 70–110 g in weight. The cucumbers feature large bumps, emerald or dark green color with blurred light stripes, juicy and crisp texture without bitterness. The fruit length-to-diameter ratio is approximately 3.2:1, ensuring uniform, evenly sized fruits ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, canning, marinating, and fermenting.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 12–20 kg per square meter, and capable of forming cluster fruits with 4–6 fruits per node. The period from germination to harvest onset is approximately 40–47 days, and fruiting lasts 52–62 days. The plant is tolerant to low positive temperatures and resistant to several diseases, including powdery mildew, olive spot, cucumber mosaic virus, and cucumber vein yellowing virus, which significantly simplifies cultivation both in open and protected ground.

Due to its excellent taste and disease resistance, cucumber Slavnyi F1 is a versatile hybrid suitable for various uses. It is recommended to remove suckers after the 13th–15th leaf to increase yield. This hybrid exhibits consistent and stable fruiting, enabling the production of high-quality cucumbers for fresh markets and processing.
