Greenhouse cucumber Greenhouse 40 F1 is a new-generation parthenocarpic hybrid of zucchini, developed for cultivation in greenhouses of any type. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and uniformity of fruits, which reach a length of 10-12 centimeters with a length-to-width ratio of 3.2:1. The fruits have a slightly ribbed, medium-thickness skin that does not become rough or lose its market appearance during storage. The flowering type is clustered, enabling the formation of 2-4 fruits per node, and a strong root system effectively nourishes the plant even under heavy fruiting.
The Greenhouse 40 F1 hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including CMV, ZYMV, and CVYV viruses, significantly reducing the risk of crop losses. The vegetation period is 40-43 days, allowing for early harvest for fresh market and canning. Due to its characteristics, this hybrid is suitable for both professional and amateur greenhouse cultivation.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to maintain a temperature regime in the greenhouse: daytime 20-28 degrees, nighttime 18-20 degrees. Seedlings are sown in December and transplanted into the greenhouse at an age of 15-20 days. The hybrid is well-suited for cultivation following such predecessors as early and cauliflower, parsley, sorrel, and onion. Greenhouse 40 F1 combines high fruit quality, ease of care, and disease resistance, making it an excellent choice for greenhouse vegetable growing.
