The Slice King cucumber is an early-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid type slicer, suitable for cultivation in open ground and polyethylene greenhouses. The period from germination to the first harvest is 37-48 days, allowing for early harvest. The plant is medium-height, open-type with female flowering, which contributes to high yield and stable fruiting.
The fruits of the Slice King cucumber are cylindrical, dark green, and 20-25 cm long. The fruits have smooth skin with small, sparse bumps, do not yellow, and have a salad-like flavor. The average fruit weight is 200-250 grams. The cucumbers have excellent taste qualities both fresh and for pickling or salting. When reaching a length of about 20 cm, fruit growth slows down, which helps maintain their market appearance and quality.
