KALIGULA

KALIGULA F1 — an early, high-yielding cucumber hybrid, designed for cultivation in greenhouse and winter greenhouses. The plant is indeterminate, strongly branched, with large dark green leaves, mixed flowering type and bee-pollinated. The root system develops well even in limited substrate volume, promoting active growth and development of the plant. Fruit set begins on day 50-67 after germination, enabling a quick harvest.

KALIGULA fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, green color with short light stripes, large bumps and white spines. The length of the cucumbers is 18-21 cm, and the weight varies between 180-210 g. The taste is good, making them suitable for salad use. The fruits externally resemble the F1 hybrid PRAKMATIK, simplifying the sorting process.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including cladosporiosis, common cucumber mosaic virus, root rots and ascochytosis. Yield in greenhouse cultivation reaches 11.1 kg/m², and in winter greenhouses — up to 27-33 kg/m². These characteristics make KALIGULA an excellent choice for professional cucumber cultivation with high productivity and disease resistance.
