Cucumber variety Hero is a short-fruited parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, characterized by high resistance to diseases and ability to grow successfully in various climatic conditions. This variety tolerates temperature fluctuations well, making it suitable for cultivation in both cold and hot regions, as well as in greenhouses and open ground. Due to parthenocarpy, cucumbers do not require pollination, simplifying care and increasing harvest stability.

The fruits of cucumber Hero have an elongated-cylindrical shape, 10–12 cm long and weighing 60–110 g. They are dark green, often covered with small bumps and white spines. The flesh is dense, free of bitterness and voids, making them especially tasty when eaten fresh or preserved or pickled. The variety is suitable for salad and general use, fitting various consumption methods.

The maturation period of Hero variety is ultra-early — from germination to the beginning of fruiting, only 35–38 days pass, allowing for a quick harvest. Average yield is about 9.3 kg per square meter.
