VYAZOVEC

Cucumber variety VYAZOVEC is a medium-early, bee-pollinated variety intended for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The period from germination to harvest begins at 50-55 days, allowing for a relatively quick harvest. The plant exhibits a female flowering type, with up to three fruits forming in a single node, contributing to high yield. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and the plant is moderately branched, belonging to determinate cucumber varieties.

Fruits of the VYAZOVEC variety have a cylindrical shape, green color with short light stripes, and a moderately ribbed surface. The fruits are covered with sparse white spines and weigh between 90 to 110 grams, although occasionally may reach 130 grams. Flavor qualities are excellent, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning and pickling.

The variety is highly resistant to diseases such as cucumber mosaic virus, bacterial wilt, and root rots, significantly simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability. Sowing is recommended between May 25 and June 5, with a planting scheme of 70 by 25 centimeters. Harvesting occurs from mid-July to early September, allowing for a stable and high-quality yield throughout the season.
