Cucumber Leonardo

Reliable Yields in Diverse Conditions

The 'Leonardo' cucumber, developed by 'Evro-Semena' (Euro-Seeds), is the result of focused breeding work by specialists, including Yuri Tarasov and Viktor Muzhilko. This hybrid was engineered as a pragmatic solution for growers looking for high-quality produce and a reliable, predictable lifecycle.

Agronomic Profile and Cultivation

A distinctive feature of the 'Leonardo' is its generative growth type. The plant effectively directs its energy toward fruit production rather than excessive foliage, simplifying plant management and pruning. Being a bee-pollinated hybrid, it thrives in open-field cultivation where natural pollinators ensure excellent fruit set, while it also performs efficiently in glass greenhouses.

• Fruit Quality: Small-warted cucumbers with an average weight of 80 grams, making them perfect for both fresh market sales and pickling.
• Adaptability: The hybrid demonstrates significant resilience to temperature fluctuations and typical environmental stressors.
• Market Positioning: 'Evro-Semena' has established a reputation for providing consistent genetics that offer a professional-grade result for both commercial farming and home gardening.

Choosing 'Leonardo' is a strategic move for growers who prioritize efficiency. The plant requires minimal intervention in terms of training, yet it rewards the cultivator with uniform, marketable fruits. This is a robust, no-nonsense hybrid designed for those who value stability and proven agronomic outcomes.
