Description ALGAMBRA F1
Alhambra F1 cucumber is an early-maturing, self-pollinating hybrid, distinguished by high yield and versatility in use. The vegetative period is 40-45 days, after which fruits 8-12 cm long and weighing 70-110 g appear. The cucumbers have a cylindrical shape with large but sparse bumps, a deep green color, and a dense, crisp flesh without bitterness. The taste is slightly sweet and slightly bitter, with a strong aroma, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and salting.

This hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. When planted in open ground, it is recommended to use protective film to maintain optimal conditions. The plants are medium-sized with a high number of fruit set, ensuring a stable and high yield from June until late autumn frosts. The plant is heat-loving but also resistant to cold and diseases such as cladosporiosis, cercospora, downy mildew, and cucumber mosaic.

For successful cultivation, seeds are sown at the end of April when soil temperature reaches 14-15 degrees Celsius, or earlier in March in greenhouses. Planting depth should not exceed 3 cm. The plant requires regular watering, periodic fertilization, and timely weed control. Alhambra F1 cucumber is valued for its excellent taste, firm skin, and versatility, making it a popular choice among gardeners and producers.
