Bell pepper Boneta

Czech breeding excellence: Boneta Pepper by Moravoseed

In the vegetable market, products from the Czech company Moravoseed have long established a reputation for quality aligned with European standards. The Boneta variety is a classic representative of determinate peppers that has proven its demand in the protected cropping sector for decades. This mid-season variety is chosen by growers for its consistency and predictable results.

Agronomic features

Boneta’s determinate growth habit makes it ideal for compact plastic tunnels and low greenhouses. The plant produces balanced, uniform fruits highly valued by fresh market professionals:

• Fruit type: trapezoidal shape, which simplifies packing and long-distance transport.
• Mass and structure: the average fruit weight is 130 grams with a wall thickness of 5–6 mm. The 3-4 locule structure ensures the pepper is meaty and visually appealing for retail chains.
• Color evolution: a key feature is the transition from an original yellow-white hue at technical maturity to a deep, intense red at biological maturity. This provides growers with flexibility: harvesting can begin at the ivory stage, often in high demand during early production cycles.

Boneta by Moravoseed is more than just seeds; it is a reliable instrument for producing uniform yields with excellent culinary qualities. Choosing this variety is a smart decision for farmers focused on a classic pepper appearance that maintains its marketability even after extended logistics.
