Antratsit

ANTARZITE is an early-maturing chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) variety intended for feed use and adapted to growing conditions in Russia, particularly in the Rostov region and the North Caucasus region. The variety's vegetative period ranges from 67 to 84 days, allowing for harvest in relatively short timeframes. The plants are characterized by low to medium height with erect or semi-erect bushes, and the flowers have a purple-pink color.

The ANTARZITE variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, ensuring harvest stability even under adverse weather conditions. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 160 to 250 grams; the seeds are black in color, have an angular shape, and pronounced ribbing. The average yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 18.0 centners per hectare, which is 3.5 centners higher than the average standard for this region.

Additionally, ANTARZITE chickpeas have a high protein content ranging from 20.9% to 25.0%, making them a valuable feed crop. Due to its agronomic qualities and disease resistance, this variety is widely used for sowing to obtain a high-quality and high-yield product.
