Chickpea Antei

Prioritizing Harvest Purity: Why 'Antey' Sets the Standard

In the chickpea market, the biggest challenge remains the pulse beetle (bruchid), which can devastate a harvest long before it reaches the processor. 'Antey', a result of rigorous selection by leading Ukrainian agricultural institutions, was designed to combat exactly this issue. Unlike many standard varieties, 'Antey' possesses a specific grain coat density and biochemical composition that makes it highly resistant to pest damage.

Agronomic Profile

This is an intensive variety designed for high-yield farming. While it demands precise adherence to agricultural technologies, it rewards growers with large, uniform grains that are highly sought after in the food industry for humus production and premium retail packaging.

• Pest Resistance: Superior resistance to bruchids, drastically reducing the need for intensive chemical fumigation.
• Purpose: Exclusively food-grade quality.
• Adaptation: Locally bred in Ukraine to ensure peak performance under regional climatic cycles.

Why 'Antey' stands out

For farmers focusing on export quality and premium supply chains, 'Antey' is an essential choice. It does not tolerate shortcuts in crop management, but for those who master its cultivation, it offers a distinct competitive advantage: the ability to deliver clean, undamaged, high-quality grain that commands a premium market price.
