Carla carrot is a late-maturing and high-yielding variety, intended for long-term storage. The plant forms large, conical-shaped roots with a rounded tip, 18 to 22 cm long, and a rich orange color. The carrot flesh is juicy, crisp, and sweet, making this variety suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

For growing the Carla variety, seeds should be sown in the second half of March. The soil should be loose, well-aerated, and contain sufficient nutrients. Sowing depth is 1.5–2.0 cm, and row spacing should be about 20 cm. Minimum temperature for seed germination is +4 to +6 °C.

This variety features smooth root surfaces and high washability, which simplifies preparation for sale and storage. Average maturity period is about 100–105 days. Carla carrots are suitable for long-term storage up to 6 months, making them convenient for year-round use.
