The Sladostrastnitsa melon variety is an early-maturing hybrid, ripening within 90-110 days from seedlings. The fruits have an oval shape, yellow color with a dense, even gray netting, and weigh from 2.5 to 3 kg. The melon flesh is thick, dense, orange, crispy, and is distinguished by a bright aroma and high sweetness. This hybrid is valued for its disease resistance and high beta-carotene content, making it not only tasty but also a healthy product.
For successful cultivation in conditions of zones with unstable agriculture, it is recommended to use a film cover laid out flat or greenhouses with trellises. When forming the plant after the appearance of 5-6 leaves, stem pinching is carried out, leaving 3-5 fruits on each plant. Irrigation is stopped 10-15 days before ripening, which improves the taste qualities of the fruits.
