The fruit surface is smooth or slightly wrinkled, yellow-green in color, patternless, with partial, fine-meshed netting. The rind is thick and hard, ensuring good fruit protection. Rimma 89 melon flesh differs in a cream or light green shade, with a thickness from 4.0 to 4.4 cm. It is dense, fibrous, low in juice, and slightly crunchy, giving the fruits a pleasant texture. The taste of the melon is good, with a characteristic melon aroma. The fruits possess high commercial yield, reaching 14.6-20.3 tons per hectare, and retain their qualities for 24-30 days after harvest, ensuring good transportability and long-term storage.
