SVYATOSLAV

The watermelon Svjatoslav is a mid-early variety of bush form with a short main tendril, which facilitates its cultivation under garden and plot conditions. The plant's leaves are of medium size, dark green in color, medium incised and strongly wrinkled, which is characteristic of this variety. The fruits have an oval shape with a smooth surface, colored in a green or dark green background with blurred dark green stripes of medium width, which gives them an attractive appearance.

The mass of the fruits is usually about 4 kg, but according to the breeder's data, it can reach up to 8 kg. The watermelon flesh is dark red, of medium density, with a good taste, which makes it an excellent table product. The seeds are of medium size, brown with a dot pattern, which is a characteristic feature of the variety.

The watermelon Svjatoslav is characterized by good yield of marketable fruits on dryland farming — about 2.0 kg per square meter. It has high transportability and is capable of preserving its marketable qualities for 40-50 days after harvesting, which ensures convenience for storage and sales. This variety is recommended for cultivation in personal subsidiary farms and is suitable for consumption fresh.
