AGN M72 — this is a clover variety distinguished by high resistance and yield. It exhibits excellent frost tolerance and quickly recovers after mowing, ensuring a stable and abundant harvest. The variety shows good resistance to most nematodes, moderate resistance to aphids, and excellent protection against soil-borne diseases such as verticillium and anthracnose. AGN M72 seeds were imported from Italy and grown on our own fields, guaranteeing their quality and adaptation to local conditions. Clover is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the legume family and is widely used as a forage crop. It is cultivated for green fodder, hay, and silage. Due to its ability to enrich soil with nitrogen and other beneficial organic substances, clover improves soil structure and fertility, while its dense stand effectively suppresses weed growth. The plant requires minimal care, possesses high drought and frost tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones. The forage value of clover is very high: one kilogram of hay contains 0.48 feeding units and 102 grams of protein. In terms of nutritional value, two kilograms of clover hay are equivalent to one kilogram of oats. The plant's leaves are rich in protein (about 20%), vitamins A, C, PP, E, as well as calcium and phosphorus. Additionally, clover is a honey-producing crop with nectar containing up to 50% sugar. Sowing seeds is recommended early in spring at a rate of 15-20 kg per hectare, at a depth of 2-3 cm in moist soil and 3-4 cm in dry soil. Clover yield ranges from 450-750 centners of green mass per hectare, 80-150 centners of hay, up to 300 centners under irrigation, and 5-9 centners of seeds harvested in the second year of growth.
