Viburnum 'Omega' is a decorative shrub up to 2.5–3 meters high and wide, easily fitting into any garden ensemble thanks to its dense, slightly fluffy crown. The bushes reach a medium size, and their crown takes the shape of an inverted cone, creating a pleasant visual effect.
The 'Omega' variety belongs to winter-hardy and cold-resistant plants: it is not affected by known diseases and pests, making it an ideal choice for gardeners who wish to minimize care. Thanks to its high yield, up to 4 kg of tasty berries can be collected from one bush.
The berries are dark blue, oval in shape, slightly asymmetrical, with a delicate skin and a long shelf life on the bush. The flesh has an acid-sweet taste with notes of blueberry, rich in vitamins C, P, B1, B2, folic acid, as well as minerals – potassium, manganese, iodine, sodium, magnesium, copper, carotene, calcium, and phosphorus. Early ripening allows using them in desserts as early as May, bringing joy to both adults and children. The variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting, which facilitates its operation on large areas.
