Skvortsova's Memory – a variety of honeysuckle (Lonicera xylosteum) registered in the Russian State Register in 2009. It is a medium-sized shrub up to 2.5 m tall with yellowish-brown bark and a dense inverted-conical crown. Leaves are wide elliptical, about 3.5 cm long and 2 cm wide, pointed at the top, oval at the base, and slightly hairy along the edges, especially on the underside.
Flowering starts in mid-May and continues until early June. Flowers are white, adorned with a raspberry-colored knob forming a sack-like appendage; the corolla is tubular with a slight dark pink dusting on the outside. After flowering, dark red fruits appear, which remain on the bush for a long time.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to pests and diseases (1 point), hardiness (1 point), and ease of care. Rooting of green cuttings reaches 98%, making it convenient for propagation. Skvortsova's Memory is an ideal choice for decorative gardens where both aesthetics and ease of maintenance are valued.
