The 'Gentle Melody' Hemerocallis is a compact bush with a generative shoot that rises above the leaves to a height of 46.5 to 65.9 cm. This variety is characterized by small flowers with a diameter of 7.5 to 9 cm, forming inflorescences consisting of 6–21 flowers. Blooming occurs from mid-July and continues until the end of August, allowing for an extended period of decorative enjoyment.
The flowers have a star-shaped form and a monochromatic dark apricot-yellow color. The flower throat features a watermark in the color of the dark Slavic sun, giving the flower special expressiveness. The perianth lobes are semi-closed with pointed tips: internal lobes have corrugated edges, while external ones have wavy edges, adding texture and elegance to the flower.
In addition to its attractive appearance, the 'Gentle Melody' Hemerocallis has a fragrance, making it particularly valuable for creating floral compositions and decorating garden plots. Due to its compact size and prolonged flowering period, this variety is excellent for use in decorative greening and landscape design.
