Rosela

Rosela — an early-maturing leaf lettuce variety of Lollo Rosso type, intended for cultivation in open ground from early spring to late autumn. The vegetation period ranges from 40 to 55 days, allowing harvest in May-June and enabling year-round use of the lettuce. Plants form semi-upright rosettes with compact, attractive leaves that are dark red in color and heavily ruffled, curly-edged.

This variety is distinguished by its resistance to bolting and flowering, ensuring a stable yield and high leaf quality. The mass of one plant is approximately 90-100 grams, making Rosela suitable for cultivation both on an industrial scale and in home gardens. Recommended planting scheme — 30 by 30 centimeters, which promotes optimal development and rosette formation.

Rosela is ideal for use in mixed salads due to its bright color and decorative leaf shape. It can be included in the diet in spring and summer, adding freshness and rich flavor to dishes.
