Lettuce Peremozhets

Focus on Intensity and Immunity

The 'Peremozhets' lettuce variety from UNUS breeders is designed for those seeking a balance between early harvest and marketability. Unlike many early varieties that lose leaf density during rapid growth, this lettuce maintains its structure, which is crucial for efficient logistics.

Visual Impact

The plant's color palette combines a lush green base with vivid, intensely red accents. This contrast is more than just aesthetic—it creates a “display-ready” product that stands out against monochromatic green alternatives. It is a powerful tool for farmers serving local markets and the HoReCa segment, where the visual appeal of a dish is paramount.

Resistance to Powdery Mildew

The main weakness of most early-season lettuce is poor resistance to fungal diseases. 'Peremozhets' sets itself apart with strong genetic resistance to powdery mildew, allowing growers to reduce the frequency of fungicide applications. For the producer, this means two clear advantages: cost savings on chemicals and the ability to deliver a cleaner, more eco-friendly product.

Who Should Choose This Variety

This variety is ideal for:

• Farms targeting early production cycles in greenhouses.
• Producers adhering to strict standards of minimal chemical use.
• Suppliers to the foodservice industry who require vibrant, eye-catching salad leaves for culinary decoration.

Despite its early maturity, 'Peremozhets' requires stable temperature management to maintain its intense color. Excessive heat may dilute the red pigmentation, so maintaining proper greenhouse ventilation is key to achieving optimal visual results.
