Wild cabbage CANDID CHARM F1

Premium Japanese Genetics for the Fresh Market

Candid Charm F1, developed by the renowned Japanese company Sakata, represents a top-tier choice for commercial growers focusing on the fresh produce segment. Known for its consistency and vigor, this cauliflower hybrid has established a solid reputation for delivering high-quality, market-ready heads that meet the stringent demands of modern retail chains.

Key Technical Specifications

The hybrid is engineered to optimize performance during a growth cycle of 70–80 days after transplanting. With careful management, growers can expect uniform production across the entire field. The physical characteristics of the crop include:

• Head Structure: A distinct dome-shaped head that is exceptionally dense and visually appealing.
• Coloring: A signature grey-green hue that signifies freshness and high nutritional quality.
• Weight: Individual heads typically weigh between 1.0 and 2.0 kg, perfectly aligning with consumer preference.
• Plant Density: A recommended planting density of 30,000–35,000 plants per hectare ensures optimal light distribution and airflow.

One of the most notable features of Candid Charm F1 is its robust foliage architecture. The leaves naturally shield the developing curd from direct sunlight, maintaining the delicate color and preventing the yellowing often associated with lower-quality varieties. For producers, this means less post-harvest waste and a higher percentage of top-grade produce. Whether you are aiming for high-end farmers' markets or wholesale supply, Sakata’s Candid Charm F1 provides the reliability and structural integrity required for a profitable harvest season.
