Karat

Carat Salad (PL 6056) — a medium-early iceberg variety developed by Asia Seed company, suitable for cultivation in open and protected soil. The vegetation period is 45–50 days, allowing harvest in spring-summer and autumn periods. The plant exhibits high growth energy and a well-developed root system, ensuring its resilience to adverse weather conditions, high temperatures, stress, and diseases. The variety is also resistant to bolting, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers.

Carat forms compact, medium-density heads with bright green, juicy, crisp leaves. Head weight ranges from 500 to 700 grams, and with proper agronomy, can reach up to 800 grams.
