White Concept F1 cauliflower is a mid-season hybrid developed by the Japanese seed company Sakata. This variety features a powerful plant with well-developed vegetative mass, which effectively protects the inflorescences. The vegetative period ranges from 75 to 90 days after transplanting seedlings into open ground, allowing for harvest primarily during the summer-autumn period. The cauliflower heads are round-flat or dome-shaped, dense, and white, weighing from 1 to 2.5 kg. The plant leaves are dark green, large, with wavy edges, forming two dense layers that reliably shield the heads from direct sunlight and moisture, contributing to resistance against anthocyanin discoloration and fungal diseases.
The White Concept F1 hybrid is distinguished by high heat resistance, maintaining yield even at temperatures above 30°C, and tolerates temperature fluctuations well. For successful cultivation, the seedling method with subsequent regular watering is recommended: every other day in hot weather and once every three days at moderate temperatures. An important condition is the application of fertilizers, including nitrogen fertilizers, organics, and phosphorus-potassium complexes, which promotes the formation of large and high-quality heads.
This variety is versatile in use: the cauliflower can be used for canning, freezing, preparing various dishes, and selling in fresh form. Due to excellent taste qualities and high market appeal, White Concept F1 is suitable for both industrial cultivation and personal consumption. Hybrid seeds are packaged in lots of 1,000 pieces and are recommended for sowing at a rate of 32–37 thousand seeds per hectare.
