Lavanda Stepnaia is a perennial plant with valuable medicinal properties and a high content of essential oils. Externally, it appears as an evergreen shrub 30 to 60 cm tall with a half-spreading crown. The lower branches become woody, while the upper ones are soft and tender, bearing the inflorescences.
The flowers of Lavanda Stepnaia have a light lilac or blue shade, giving the bush an exquisite lilac appearance. The plant's aroma is perceived not only in the flowers but also in the branches: it is rich, pleasant, and characteristic of lavender. Due to this, the variety is popular both in ornamental gardening and in aromatherapy.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to plant Lavanda Stepnaia in sheltered areas protected from strong winds, with sufficient sunlight and well-drained soil. The plant does not tolerate serious frosts without cover, so in cold climates it should be mulched or covered with fir branches. With proper care, the lavender retains its decorative qualities and continues to produce essential oils that can be used in cosmetics, aromatherapy, and folk medicine.
