Lavender variety "Voznesenskaya Aroma" is a perennial plant with a pronounced aroma and high flower yield. Bushes reach 70–81 cm in height, have a semi-closed form, and a dense spherical structure, making them attractive for garden design and park landscapes. Flowers are violet-lilac in color, about 1.5 cm in diameter, forming spike-like inflorescences 5–8 cm long, which usually contain from 800 to 950 flowers per bush in the sixth year of growth.
The variety is distinguished by a high essential oil content – up to 5.05% and a yield of up to 90 kg/ha upon collection. Thanks to this, it is widely used as an aromatic additive in drinks, cosmetics, and medicinal products. Lavender possesses antiseptic and antispasmodic properties, promoting rapid wound healing.
For growing "Voznesenskaya Aroma", sunny, wind-protected plots with dry, well-drained soil are preferable. Seeds are stratified at +5 °C for 30–40 days, after which they are sown and germinated in the light at a temperature of 15–21 °C. Seedlings are planted at a distance of 5 cm, and in May – in a permanent place. The variety is also characterized by increased winter hardiness and frost resistance, which allows it to grow successfully even in colder climatic conditions.
