Corn hybrid RAM 3153 is a medium-early hybrid with FAO 250, characterized by rapid early development and high yield potential. This hybrid demonstrates resistance to lodging due to its strong stalk and well-developed root system, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. RAM 3153 adapts well to variable growing conditions, exhibits drought tolerance, and resistance to major pests and diseases of agricultural crops. Additionally, the hybrid is insensitive to insecticide and herbicide treatments, simplifying agronomic care.
RAM 3153 has semi-pearled yellow kernels, making it versatile for use in the food industry, particularly for producing corn flour and grit. The kernels have a weight of 260–280 g per thousand, and ears measuring 25–28 cm in length contain 12–14 rows with 40–45 kernels per row. The plant height reaches 250–270 cm, with ears positioned at approximately 80 cm. The hybrid does not tend to bushy growth and has a leafiness of 14–16 leaves per stalk.
Hybrid RAM 3153 is recommended for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe regions, and the Polissia. It responds well to improved growing conditions and fertilizer application, enabling farmers to achieve high yields — potentially 115–125 centners per hectare with a full vegetation cycle of 110–115 days. Developed and registered in the State Register in 2016 by LLC NII AgroBusiness (Dnepropetrovsk region), this hybrid combines high productivity and resilience, making it an advantageous choice for modern agricultural producers.
