Maize Recolt

A versatile solution for your fields

When selecting seeds for farms that prioritize both grain and silage production, the 'Rekolt' variety from the Institute of Agricultural Business (НДІ аграрного бізнесу) stands out for its flexibility. Practical field experience shows that this variety offers the stability needed to navigate the challenges of the Ukrainian climate.

In the field: key performance indicators

The main advantage of 'Rekolt' is its predictability at harvest time. Agronomists working with this variety note its adaptability across different soil types. Its performance highlights include:

• Maturation stability: the variety shows consistent development from the vegetative stage to physiological maturity, allowing for precise scheduling of the harvest campaign.
• Dual-purpose utility: you are not restricted by narrow specialization if weather conditions or market trends shift. It serves effectively for both grain and high-quality, nutrient-rich silage production.
• Stress resistance: this variety from the Institute of Agricultural Business shows good tolerance to short-term drought periods, maintaining both plant turgor and ear productivity.

Practical management

When managing 'Rekolt', it is important to follow standard crop rotation and sound agronomic practices. Experience demonstrates that when planted at the optimal density, the variety maximizes its yield potential. It does not require complex or highly specific care—standard prophylactic fungicide and insecticide applications cover all basic risks. Harvest losses remain low because the variety possesses sturdy stalks with excellent resistance to lodging, which is crucial for reducing post-harvest drying costs.
