RGT Axxional

RGT Axxional corn is a mid-season hybrid with high yield potential and stable productivity. This intensive hybrid is characterized by plasticity and good adaptation to various soil-climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. Plants have medium height, and the kernel type is cream-colored, toothed, which ensures high-quality grain for use in grain production.

The hybrid is characterized by high cold resistance and drought tolerance, confirmed by high agronomic ratings: initial growth rate, cold resistance, and drought tolerance are rated 9 out of 9, stem and ear resistance to fusarium is rated 8. Rapid early growth promotes successful plant development during early vegetation stages. The number of rows per ear ranges from 16 to 18, and the number of kernels per row is 38 to 42, with a 1000-kernel weight of 320–340 grams.

Recommended sowing dates vary depending on soil temperature: early sowing is optimal at 8–10 °C, optimal at 10–12 °C, and late sowing at 12–14 °C. Plant density at harvest depends on the cultivation zone: in Polissia, 65–70 thousand/ha is recommended, in forest-steppe — 62–68 thousand/ha, and in steppe — 45–50 thousand/ha.
