Anovi CS

Anovi CS — early grain sweet corn hybrid with FAO 220, intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions. This hybrid features a cream-colored, dent-type kernel, ensuring high crop quality. The plant exhibits high cold tolerance, enabling planting at optimal early dates with temperatures as low as +8 °C, and also at optimal dates of +10 °C. Due to its strong stalk, the hybrid is resistant to lodging, reducing losses during harvest and increasing overall cultivation profitability.

Anovi CS demonstrates high profitability when grown using intensive and semi-intensive cultivation technologies. The hybrid exhibits rapid water loss, optimizing drying costs and enhancing the efficiency of planting equipment. Recommended planting density is 75-85 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 60-65 thousand under insufficient moisture. However, it is not recommended to grow this hybrid on sandy soils, as this may negatively affect yield.

Moreover, Anovi CS shows resistance to diseases such as fusarium and helminthosporiosis, further enhancing crop stability and quality. In 2022, the hybrid achieved yields of 119 centners per hectare in Lviv Oblast and 84.10 centners per hectare in Vinnytsia Oblast, confirming its high productivity and adaptability to various cultivation conditions.
