Description INGREDA
The INGREDA hemp variety is a type of Cannabis sativa L. ssp. sativa intended for dual-purpose use — obtaining fiber and seeds. The plants are characterized by significant stem height, varying from 172 to 300 cm depending on growing conditions and region. Stems have an oval shape with a diameter from 4.8 to 6.5 mm and contain 9-15 internodes. Stem and leaf color can vary from light yellow to dark green, while seeds are large, oval-shaped, light gray with a mosaic pattern. The weight of 1000 seeds ranges from 15.3 to 19 g. The vegetative period varies from 83 to 113 days, allowing the variety to be used in various climatic zones, including the central Russian region and Krasnodar Krai. The yield of the INGREDA variety is high and depends on growing conditions. According to test data, stem yield reaches from 64.5 to 171.5 c/ha, and fiber — from 17.3 to 50 c/ha. The fiber content in stems is from 25.1% to 30%, while the long fiber yield reaches 23%. The breaking load of the fiber is in the range of 25.3–30.4 kgf, indicating the strength and quality of raw materials for the textile industry. Seed yield varies from 5 to 10.2 c/ha, with a fat content in seeds of about 31%, making them valuable raw material for oil production. The INGREDA variety is resistant to major hemp diseases, such as fusarium, septoria, and stem gray spot, and is also weakly affected by gray mold. Early sowing dates and the possibility of cultivation on green crops expand its application possibilities in agronomy. It is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, taking into account climatic features, making it a universal and promising variety for obtaining quality fiber and seeds.
