MARMELADKA is an early variety of sweet corn, known for its high yield and exceptional sweet taste with caramel notes. The plant reaches a height of 1.85 to 2 meters and forms sturdy cylindrical ears about 17–19 cm long, densely packed with bright yellow kernels. The vegetative period is approximately 70–74 days, allowing for harvest by late July or early August. Two to three ears mature on each stem, each weighing up to 170 grams. The kernels feature a juicy, tender texture and high sugar content, making them particularly delicious and attractive for consumption. This corn variety is highly resistant to drought, diseases, and pests, significantly easing care and increasing fertility indicators. The plant adapts well to various weather conditions and does not require complex agricultural technical maintenance. To achieve maximum sweetness, it is recommended to harvest ears at the milk stage of maturity. Seed sowing can begin in April and continue until early May, with a two-week interval, allowing for fresh ears throughout the season. MARMELADKA is versatile in application: kernels can be consumed fresh, boiled, baked, canned, or frozen for winter. The product is low-calorie—there are only 175 calories per 100 grams, while corn is rich in vitamins, proteins, amino acids, and fiber. Thanks to its taste qualities and nutritional value, this variety is ideal for growing on garden plots and in private farms, ensuring a stable and tasty yield with minimal effort.
