Tradition

Potato variety Tradition is medium-early and was included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2019. This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 60 tons per hectare, with each plant producing 18-25 tubers or 1.5-2 kg. The vegetation period lasts 70-78 days, allowing effective planning of harvest.

Tubers of the Tradition variety have a correct round or slightly elongated oval shape, white or light-yellow in color with thin skin. The flesh is creamy, with a starch content of 16-17%, providing a rich, classic flavor. Due to these qualities, this potato is ideal for frying, salads, and French fries. Additionally, the tubers exhibit high uniformity and resistance to mechanical damage.

The Tradition variety shows high resistance to several common diseases, including rot, phytophthora, rizoctonia, cancer, and mosaic. It is adapted for cultivation on all soil types and in all climatic zones of Ukraine, making it a universal and reliable choice for farmers and gardeners. This potato variety is a valuable food product, rich in starch, vitamins, and minerals.
