Description ROGACHEV'S MEMORY
The potato variety 'Memory of Rogachev' is a medium-early table type with a maturation period of 65 to 80 days. The plant is of medium or high stature, semi-erect, with medium to large green leaves and slightly wavy edges. Tubers are oval-round in shape with small eyes, slightly rough yellow skin, and light-yellow flesh. The mass of marketable tubers ranges from 97 to 160 grams, and the number of tubers per plant reaches 12-32. Starch content in tubers is 16.4-20.2%, making this variety suitable for various culinary purposes including baking and mashing (culinary type D). The taste of the potato is rated as good to excellent.

The yield of the 'Memory of Rogachev' variety is high and stable, reaching 193 to 329 centners per hectare, which is 35-158 centners higher than varieties Volzhannin and Adretta. Maximum yield may reach 522 centners per hectare, exceeding the Dobra standard. Marketable tuber percentage ranges from 89-97%, and storability is 92%, indicating good product preservation during storage.

The variety shows high resistance to potato late blight pathogen (pathotype I) and is lightly affected by golden potato cyst nematode. According to the VNIIF's data, 'Memory of Rogachev' is moderately susceptible to foliage and moderately resistant to tubers to phytophthora. These characteristics make the variety reliable and promising for cultivation in various regions. The breeders of this variety are the Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Federal State Budgetary Research Institution 'VNIIS of Potato Growing named after A.G. Lorh'.
