The potato variety Zvіzdalʹ belongs to the mid-early table types with a vegetation period of about 99-108 days, depending on growing conditions. The plants are semi-erect, medium height, intermediate type with a slight anthocyanic tint on the stems. Leaves are moderately green, medium-sized, and open in shape. Flowers are white, large, with moderate abundance. Tubers have an oval-rounded shape with pink skin and shallow red eyes, with a rough surface. Flesh is creamy or yellowish, distinguished by high taste rating, reaching 8-9 points. The variety Zvіzdalʹ is characterized by high yield, which can reach 35-42 tons per hectare, with guaranteed increase of up to 2 tons per hectare. Average weight of one tuber is 80-95 grams. Starch content in tubers is about 17.2%, ensuring good starch harvest of up to 54.8 centners per hectare. Zvіzdalʹ possesses high resistance to a number of diseases and pests: it is resistant to the common biotype of potato late blight and golden potato nematode, moderately resistant to leaf phytophthora and common scab, and highly resistant to stem nematode and iron-stain.
