Storema F1

Storema F1 — this is a late-maturing hybrid of white cabbage, developed by the company Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands. The vegetative period of the plant is 130-150 days, depending on growing conditions. The cabbage forms dense, compact, and uniform round heads weighing from 2 to 4 kg. The leaves have a dark green hue with a strong waxy coating, giving them an attractive appearance and contributing to prolonged freshness. The root system of the hybrid is highly developed, ensuring good nutrition and plant resilience. Storema F1 is characterized by high yield — up to 8-10 kg per square meter, especially when grown under plastic covers, agrovoltex, or in greenhouses. Uniform seed germination and the ability to mature heads synchronously allow for stable and high-quality yields. The hybrid is resistant to cracking and damage from thrips, significantly reducing losses during storage and transportation. Due to its dense structure and uniform leaf layering, the cabbage is well-suited for processing, ensuring high yield of marketable product. Storema F1 is valued for its excellent taste qualities — its tender and mild flavor makes it ideal for fresh consumption and pickling. The cabbage has excellent storability and can be stored under special conditions for 4-5 months, retaining its marketable appearance and freshness until July. The recommended planting density is 35-45 thousand plants per hectare, allowing optimization of yield and product quality. This hybrid is successfully grown throughout Ukraine and is suitable for both open and protected ground cultivation.
