Ferro

Ferro — a mid-season hybrid of white cabbage with a vegetation period of 85–90 days after transplanting seedlings into open ground. This variety is characterized by vigorous growth and formation of a strong, compact plant with vertically oriented leaves, which facilitates and increases the effectiveness of plant protection treatments. Such leaf structure also allows for longer-term mechanical inter-row operations without harming the crop.

Cabbage heads of Ferro have a round shape with a characteristic slight tapering towards the base, dense internal structure, and pure white color. The inner core is short, which is an advantage for processing and consumption. The average head weight ranges from 2.5 to 4 kg, making this hybrid convenient for harvesting and transportation.

This variety is ideal for cultivation during the late summer to autumn period with a planting density of 25–45 thousand plants per hectare. Cabbage Ferro is intended for fresh consumption, processing, and storage up to 5 months, making it a versatile choice for farmers and producers. Thanks to its characteristics, this hybrid ensures a stable yield and high-quality produce.
