Cabbage Tesla F1

A Reliable Choice for Long-Term Storage

When it comes to red cabbage, the key to success lies in the balance between head density and its ability to maintain quality after 4-5 months of storage. The Tesla F1 hybrid, developed under the auspices of the German company agro- Tip Handels-u. Consultingges. mbH, is designed specifically for the professional fresh market segment where predictable results are paramount.

Agronomic Features

Unlike early-ripening varieties, this hybrid requires patience: the growing period is 120-130 days from transplanting. However, this time is fully rewarded by harvest quality. The hybrid's originator, breeder Mr. Yoon Jun Chul, focused on uniformity. The rounded heads, weighing 2.0-3.0 kg, feature a deep purple color and a dense structure, making them perfect for logistics and long-term retail.

Why choose Tesla F1?

• Stress Tolerance: German breeding ensures high adaptability to temperature fluctuations.
• Marketability: A dense core and high-quality wrapper leaves reduce waste during processing or post-harvest handling.
• Sales: An optimal head weight of up to 3 kg is a standard for retail chains, facilitating wholesale transactions.

This hybrid is an optimal solution for farms specializing in supplying vegetable produce during the winter season. Tesla F1 is forgiving of many growing mistakes but requires strict adherence to harvesting schedules to reach its full storage potential.
