Hybrid of Chinese cabbage with high commercial quality and excellent taste.
Pioner F1 — an annual plant with short-day requirements. Grown under cover in autumn-winter and winter-spring cycles, and outdoors in late spring-summer. The leaves of Pioner 1 are light green, and the head is cream-white when cut. Rapid growth occurs with adequate water and nutrient supply. Chinese cabbage does not tolerate transplanting well, so it should be grown through pot (cassette) seedlings or sown directly into the open ground at its final location. Seeds are sown at the end of July to early August (depending on the growing zone). Seedlings aged 18-23 days are transplanted to their final position according to the scheme: 90+50 x 20 cm, 70 x 20 cm, or 60 x 25 cm, respectively, for drip irrigation, rain-fed, or furrow watering. The seeding rate is approximately 70,000 seeds per hectare. Average head weight: 1.0–2.5 kg. Yield: 85–90 tons per hectare. The Pioner F1 hybrid of Chinese cabbage is distinguished by good storability and excellent taste, making it highly valued in the commercial market.
