KAID

White cabbage variety Kaid is a medium-late variety with a horizontal rosette of leaves and a round-flat head of whitish color. The leaves are of medium size, gray-green, with a strong waxy coating, weakly pitted and strongly wavy along the edge. The head is characterized by density reaching 4.7 points and a weight of 1.9 to 2.2 kg. The taste of the cabbage is rated as excellent and good, making it attractive to consumers. The commercial yield of the variety is at the level of 353-420 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators up to 569 centners per hectare, and the output of commercial product reaches 90%.

Plants of the Kaid variety reach a height of 60-80 cm and have green, corrugated, and curly leaves. The cabbage is characterized by high frost resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures down to -15 °C, which allows harvesting the crop until spring, leaving plants in open ground. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is suitable for long-term storage and use in fresh form.
