Premier

White cabbage of the Premier variety is an early-ripening variety that is distinguished by high quality and excellent taste characteristics. The vegetation period from full germination to technical maturity ranges from 95 to 110 days, and from planting seedlings in the ground to harvesting – 45–55 days. Heads are round in shape, dense, weighing from 0.8 to 2.5 kg; the inner head color is cream-white, and the outer leaves are light green with a waxy coating of medium intensity. Leaves are small, rounded, weakly cut along the edge, forming a semi-uplifted rosette with a diameter of 55–68 cm and a height of 21–28 cm.

The Premier variety is characterized by good resistance to low temperatures and adverse weather conditions, which ensures the stable formation of uniform and leveled heads. Thanks to the short vegetation period, the harvest can be collected from mid-May to the end of June, which allows obtaining fresh vegetables in a period when the market is not yet saturated with offers. The cabbage has a juicy and dense structure, making it ideal for fresh consumption.

Growing Premier cabbage requires standard care, including soil loosening, weeding, regular watering, and fertilization, especially during the active growth period. Seeds are sown for seedlings in early March, and planting in open ground is carried out 45–50 days after sowing. The variety responds well to watering after planting, which contributes to the formation of a quality harvest. Premier cabbage is suitable for sale on the fresh market due to its commodity and taste qualities.
