Cabbage Triumph

Long-Term Storage Strategy

The 'Triumph' white cabbage hybrid, developed by the Timiryazev Academy, is a strategic choice for commercial producers focusing on long-term storage and supplying the fresh market until late spring. With a growing cycle of 120–130 days, this variety fits perfectly into professional harvest schedules.

Field Performance and Protection

The core advantage of 'Triumph' is its genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt. This trait is essential for modern intensive farming, as it reduces crop loss risks in infected soils. The round-flat shape of the head is highly efficient for container storage, ensuring optimal density during warehouse loading and transportation.

Key Operational Scenarios

• Long-term Storage: Capable of staying fresh for 6–8 months. This makes it an ideal variety for farmers who want to profit from high prices during the off-season.
• Fresh Market Supply: The density and structural integrity of the cabbage heads ensure excellent transportability, meeting the high aesthetic standards of modern retail chains.
• Risk Management: High disease resistance allows growers to minimize chemical input, optimizing production costs without compromising yield quality.

For operations aiming for high-quality production that survives the winter storage season, 'Triumph' provides the stability required for consistent market supply.
