Cabbage SPRINTER

Working with 'Sprinter' cabbage

Predictability is key when managing vegetable crops. The 'Sprinter' variety from 'Ooo Mir Sadovodstva' has earned its place in production cycles due to its transparent development window. 80-90 days from seedling to harvest is a comfortable range for fresh market planning. You don't have to monitor the field every hour; the crop consistently reaches a market-ready mass of 1.0-1.5 kg.

Cultivation and handling traits

The field performance of this variety is marked by uniformity. The head shape is a consistent round, and the density is ideal for consumer demands. The green color remains vibrant, which is crucial for shelf appeal in retail settings.

• Cycle: The 80-90 day maturity period allows for an efficient harvest conveyor without the risk of over-maturation.
• Size: A 1.0-1.5 kg head is the 'gold standard' for retail—easy for a customer to carry and perfect for a single household purchase.
• Maintenance: The variety responds well to standard irrigation and nutrient programs, effectively lowering the cost per hectare.

Regarding transportability and handling, 'Sprinter' is a reliable workhorse. It shows good resistance to cracking during minor fluctuations in soil moisture, which compensates for minor errors in irrigation management. For an operator, this means less waste during grading and packing before shipping to the end client.
