Savoy cabbage of the Spidon variety is an early-maturing crop intended for growing in open ground and greenhouses. This variety is distinguished by high yield and good taste quality, which makes it a popular choice for fresh consumption. The leaf rosette is elevated; leaves are small, dark green with a medium-intensity waxy coating, and have a blistered, slightly wavy edge. The head is round, covered, with a yellowish tint on the cut surface, weighs from 1.0 to 1.3 kg, and has a density of 4.0 points, ensuring excellent market qualities.

The Spidon variety is characterized by high market yield, ranging from 245 to 366 centners per hectare, which corresponds to the level of standard varieties Transfer F1 and Iyunskaya. Maximum yield in certain regions, such as the Volgograd region, reaches 807 centners per hectare. The output of marketable product is 91%, indicating high efficiency of cultivation and minimal losses during harvest.
